Amended 2010 City Council Meeting Times - Tuesday, February 23, 2010

February 23, 2010; Resolution NO. 033 (2010) amends the regular evening Council meetings previously scheduled for 7:00PM on various dates of each month and reschedules them to 6:00PM.  Exact dates and times of the all meetings can be found on the website under the Government/Council tab. 

 
2010 Summer Guarded Beaches - Tuesday, February 23, 2010

February 23, 2010; Resolution NO. 034 (2010) was passed by City Council, establishing beaches with lifeguards in attendance for the 2010 summer season.  Included in this resolution are beaches designated for surfing, volleyball, rafting, catamaran and sailboat launching and kayaking.  This information is available on our website under Government/Beach Patrol.    

 
City Awards Contract to Ocean and Coastal Consultants - Tuesday, February 23, 2010

February 23, 2010; Resolution NO. 035 (2010) authorized the award of a non-fair and open contract, for the increasing State Dredging Capacity, through the beneficial re-use of dredged material of site 90 DM, for the closure of the Sea Isle City Landfill to Ocean and Coastal Consultants, Inc., of Gibbsboro, New Jersey,  in the amount of $360,000.00.

 
City Council Passes Resolutions Honoring Boys Scouts - Wednesday, February 10, 2010

February 9, 2010; City Council passed resolutions honoring the 100th Year Anniversary of the Boy Scouts of America and honoring James J. Hamilton as he attains the rank of Eagle Scout.

February 9, 2010; Boy Scout Troop 76 lead the Flag Salute at the Council Meeting.  Mayor Desiderio presented a proclamation to the Boy Scouts and their Leaders, Proclaiming February 8, 2010 thru February 13, 2010 as Scouting Week.

 
Mayor Presents Proclamation to Hockey Team - Wednesday, February 10, 2010

February 9, 2010; at the City Council meeting, the Mayor presented a proclamation to the Sea Isle City Sharks Hockey Team for winning the Cape May County Pee-Wee Hockey Championship.

 
Marina Site Bids Received - Tuesday, February 09, 2010

February 5, 2010; seven bids were received and opened for the Marina Site Project.  February 9th, the City awarded the contract to LEXA Construction, LLC from Vineland, NJ in the amount of $643,621.84.

 
Councilman Kehner Sworn in as 1st Vice President - Thursday, January 28, 2010

January 28, 2010; Council President Kehner was sworn in by CMC Freeholders Daniel Beyel and Leonard Desiderio as 1st Vice President of the CMC League of Municipalities.

 
Veterans to Receive Free Beach Tags - Tuesday, January 26, 2010

January 26, 2010; the Mayor announced that all Veterans residing in Sea Isle City will receive a free Sea Isle Beach Tag for the 2010 season, compliments of our VFW Post 1963.
