Coastal Storm Update

A Coastal Storm continues to impact Sea Isle City with strong winds, flooded streets and occasional rain.

Please stay off the roads and avoid any unnecessary travel.

If you must travel, do not drive through flooded streets. Several vehicles that drove through flood waters today have been damaged and abandoned. Also, please remember that the wake your vehicle creates can damage nearby properties – and your vehicle. As per City Ordinance, you may be subjected to a summons and a significant fine should you cause excessive wake by driving irresponsibly through flood waters

Sea Isle City residents can expect two (2) more high-tide cycles during this storm, including tonight at approximately 11:00 PM and Tuesday morning at approximately 11:30 AM.

CURBSIDE TRASH COLLECTIONS SUSPENDED AN ADDITIONAL DAY:

Following the postponement of today’s curbside Trash & Recycling Collections, the Department of Public Works is now postponing curbside collections until Wednesday, February 3. Therefore, all curbside collections this week will take place two days later than usual (Monday’s collections will take place on Wednesday; Tuesday’s collections will take place on Thursday; etc.)

Should you need police assistance, call 609-263-4311, ext. 0.

If you have an emergency, dial 911.

Thank You, Stay Safe.
