What are the responsibilities of Sea Isle City’s Public Relations Office?

Sea Isle City’s Public Relations Office promotes City events and disseminates information to the community via press releases, media advisories, announcements on other avenues. The Public Relations Office also publishes the City’s E-Newsletters and E-Alerts, which are sent to thousands of registered recipients. Additionally, the Public Relations Office serves as liaison to news agencies and also photographs community events.

What are the benefits of registering for “City News” and how often will the City contact me?

Registering for “City News” will add your email address to the list of recipients of Sea Isle City’s bi-weekly E-Newsletters and E-Alerts. Every two weeks, our E-Newsletters contain messages from the Mayor and City Council, Project Updates, details about upcoming events and other worthwhile information. Our occasional E-Alerts contain urgent information, reminders about tax and utility payments, storm warnings, special messages from the City, and other timely info.  There is no fee to register for E-Newsletters and E-Alerts.

What are the benefits of registering for “Emergency Alerts from the Police and OEM”?

Depending on the registration options you choose, the Sea Isle City Police Department will send you timely email, text and/or phone messages. The messages may include topics such as Hazardous Weather Alerts, Public Safety Alerts, Traffic Congestion, Police Activity, as well as other relevant safety and community-related information. This free service is secure, reliable and easy to use. You decide whether you want messages sent to your phone, email or simply over the web.
