Sea Isle City’s Tax & Utility Collection Office has automated the process of online payments and no longer reviews online payments manually. Online payments automatically post to the account number that customers enter in their online banking payment system.
Unfortunately, many customers who use online banking often input inaccurate or incomplete information into their bill payment system. So please take a moment to double-check that you have added the correct account number information in the correct format so that your payments will be credited to the account you intend to pay.
Customers who utilize an online banking payment system will need to create two (2) separate “Payees” (one for property taxes and one for water/sewer utility payments).
Customers with more than one account for property taxes and/or more than one account for utility payments must send separate payments for each (only one account number per payment).
Online banking customers must include the following information in their bill payment system to ensure the proper application of payments…
·FOR PROPERTY TAXES: Use your full 8-digit account number, including the leading zeros (example: 00001442). To find your property tax account number, look for the box located at the top left side of your property tax bill (just above the assessed valuation information).
·FOR WATER-SEWER BILLS: Use your utility account number including the “dash” (example: 1086-0). To find your utility account number, look at the top of the box on the left hand side of your utility bill (just under the City’s contact information).

The City of Sea Isle City has been waiving water interest charges for non-payment on accounts since October of 2021 in accordance to the Governor of New Jersey’s E.O. 229. We are extending those practices and including unpaid sewer charges until April 20, 2022 again in accordance to State Senate Bill 4081. This grace period will give our Property Owners the time they need to begin making payments. Any payments made towards interest have been credited forward and will reflect on your upcoming bill.
