Full Time Tax Collector
The City of Sea Isle City is seeking a full-time Tax Collector who is a hands-on professional with strong analytical skills and experience to provide leadership in the position. Applicant must be familiar with tax reporting, billing, liens, redemptions, and the tax sale process. Other duties may include but are not limited to collect and post-tax and water/sewer payments, reconcile daily batches, prepare deposits, aid taxpayers with tax related forms from the state, answer telephone, email and mail inquiries. Possessing a New Jersey CTC certification is preferred with a minimum of three years’ experience in a Municipal Tax Office. Microsoft Office software and Edmunds software is a must.
